SHAYDID has become a versatile cover band from Halifax, NS, known for their dynamic pop/rock sound. Influenced by the energy of many music types, Shaydid has carved out a unique entertainment style that has captivated audiences across Canada. One of Shaydid's career milestones was performing in the Caribbean (Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic), where they showcased 'Fun in the Sun' making new fans along the way. Their music has been shaped by their experiences growing up in musical families, where they absorbed vibrant rhythms and melodies.
Their live performances are known for their high energy and infectious charisma, drawing in audiences from all walks of life. Shaydid has played with notable artists in the industry including Haywire, April Wine, Jimmy Rankin to name a few. With a passion for playing music that resonates with listeners, Shaydid continues to push boundaries and explore new musical territories, leaving a lasting impact on the music scene.

Ticket FAQs
How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets are available to purchase at jennifercollinsclassic.com/dance beginning Saturday, February 8 at 12 p.m. (noon) AST.
Will physical tickets be sold?
No. Physical tickets will not be sold in 2025. Tickets are only being sold at jennifercollinsclassic.com.
What forms of payments are accepted?
Tickets can be purchased using major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX.
How many tickets can I purchase?
A maximum of four (4) tickets can be purchased in a single order.
How will I receive my tickets?
Upon payment completion, a confirmation email containing your digital tickets as a PDF will be sent to the email you entered during purchase.
What if I buy tickets for another person? Can I transfer the tickets to them?
The original ticket holder does not need to be present for a ticket to be used. Tickets are delivered as PDFs and can be shared or sold at your discretion. They can also be printed or shared digitally as PDFs. Please note: The Jennifer Collins Classic Committee is not responsible for the terms of any ticket resold after the original purchase.
How do I present my tickets at the door?
Each ticket contains a unique QR code. Physically printed or tickets presented digitally on phones will be scanned. Each ticket can only be scanned once; dance attendees will be stamped upon entry, and no ticket can be used for re-entry without a stamp.

What if I can no longer make the dance? Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets to the dance are sought after, and you can sell your tickets to a third party. Please note: the Committee is not responsible for the terms of any ticket resold after the original purchase. Please be cautious of scammers, as they frequent Facebook.

Why do the tickets include a service fee?
The Jennifer Collins Classic Committee has moved to online ticket sales to streamline ticket sales and increase equal access to tickets. The service fee covers the Committee's event ticket hosting and payment processing fees by third-party vendors. 100% of the $40 ticket fee supports the Jennifer Collins Classic.
