About The Jennifer Collins Classic
In 2025, The BURG Classic brand evolves to become The Jennifer Collins Classic.
Jennifer loved life and filled her days spreading laughter and her fun-loving nature with all who came in contact with her. In 2009, Jennifer was faced with a life-altering injury that left her paralyzed. Despite everything, Jennifer had an enduring spirit that looked to the good in life.
Jennifer was the driving force behind The BURG Classic and her determination and positivity inspired the growth of the events to what they are today. She was the ultimate hockey mom, community member, daughter, sister, and friend.
The BURG Classic started in 2013 as a recreational hockey tournament and community dance, with the sole goal of raising funds to help Jennifer. Since then, it’s grown to a multi-weekend event that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and has helped countless individuals, families, and causes in the community.
Jennifer’s legacy lives on through The Jennifer Collins Classic events and her impact will continue to support those in the community facing financial hardship due to life-altering circumstances.
